Chapter Meetings

 

 

Time and Location:

Hearing Loss Association of Chicago is the local Chicago chapter located in the Lincoln Park area, and is an affiliate of HLAA. The Chicago Lincoln Park chapter meetings are free, open to the public, and take place at 6:00 P.M. on the first Saturday of the month at the Second City Conference Center, on the fourth floor, room 404, at 230 W. North Ave., Chicago, IL, 60610. The Conference Center is on the corner of Wells Ave and W. North Ave. Phonak FM systems are used at the meetings.

** Next meeting is February 4th.  Our speaker is Jamie Dureno. Jamie is the Disability Specialist at Illinois Attorney General's Office.

 

 

Where to Park:

* There is free parking at St. Michael’s Church in Old Town.  It's a short 4-5 block walk to the meeting place.  The Church is located at 1633 N. Cleveland Ave., Chicago, IL 60614.  YOU MUST LEAVE THE PARKING LOT BY MIDNIGHT OR RISK BEING TOWED. 

 

* There is also a paid lot next door to Second City Conference Center, the adjacent Piper's Alley garage.

 

 

 

Public Transportation nearby:

 

    CTA Bus: 72-North, 156-LaSalle. Brown Line Train: Sedgwick 3 blocks west.

                  Purple Line Train: Sedgwick 3 blocks west.

 

      Metra Train: Union Pacific/ North Line (Green Line).

                        Union Pacific/Northwest Line (Yellow Line).
